The Making Of Swing Agenda's In Thermal Album

Crafting an album's worth of material is a challenging feat. I embarked on an archeological dig through dusty notebooks and yellowed pads, hoping to unearth forgotten song drafts from my high school and college days. Thankfully, some gems survived the test of time, but the majority of that early work was, unfortunately, lost.

The songwriting process was chaotic. Most of the songs were just unfinished ideas, a jumble of thoughts and melodies. I had to take these fragments and piece them together to create complete songs. Donnell played a crucial role in giving the song structure by providing the perfect chords. Every album needs a name, and we wanted ours to reflect our passion, the effort we poured into the music, and our determination to make a mark on Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and get our music heard. So, we chose the name "IN THERMAL," which symbolizes the heat and intensity we bring to our music.
